Nafin Elias, who graduated in May with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature and minors in Psychology and Sociology, Cum Laude, has been named the 2020 “Outstanding Senior” by the William Paterson University Alumni Association.

Research team member Nicole Guevara was awarded prestigious fellowship from The American Psychological Association (APA) Minority Fellowship Program (MFP).

Kimberly Perez-Lucero and Melissa Zea, both entering second year as master’s degree students in clinical and counseling psychology, each received prestigious American Psychological Association (APA) 2022-2023 Minority Fellowship Program awards.

Dr. Aileen Torres received the ‘New Jersey Psychological Association Dr. Stanley Moldawsky Mentor Award’ in 2020.

Angelica Briggs ‘16, who is pursuing a Master’s degree in Clinical and Counseling Psychology at William Paterson University, has earned a $10,000 fellowship through the American Psychological Association Minority Fellowship Program.
